Money Pocket

I had a dream that I was the mother of dragons. In one of my hand I had pokey and in the other the black dragon from G.O.T. I could only carry one of them at a time because pokey I needed two hands and because she was bigger, she would scratch the black dragon. I chose to carry the dragon first but when I arrived at the destination I had pokey in my arms. I was so worried because I didnt know where my valuable black dragon was, did someone take it from me? Damn warlocks and their powers of illusion. when I found it in a plastic bag it was sweaty, bleeding and dying. i breast fed it back to full strength. it made a miraculous recovery. it was stronger in my presence.

It was relive Taiwan night. We met at China Red at 8pm which by then i was tipsy. We had dumplings, noodles and chinese veggies. We went to Little Red Pocket where I'd find Bard, Hwi and Kwang for Kwang's birthday. The music they played reminded me of high school. So good. I liked the place, nice venue and location and the crowd was spot on. people my age in suits, classy, trendy and no try hard.. no drunkards either. Vuongie wants to pick up. I think a girls' presence makes the other girls feel comfortable when a dude is tryna pick em up. Thats what ray ray told me. Thats how she gets Ty girls. Vuongie picks a girl and me and helen try to get it for him. The girl he chooses is some bad ass blonde asian with lower back tattoos. Helen says shes outta vuongies lead so we tell vuongie she's taken.

Vuongie: What? How? Did you ask her??

Being Vuongie's wing women is a lot harder in Australia than it is over seas. Joe was teaching Vuongie how to pick up and I was following. Joe goes up to a bunch of girls and introduces himself, expecting Vuongie to learn via example.

Me: What are you doing vuongie?? Go and talk to that girl
Vuongie: What do I say??
Me: Just tell her your name. Ask for her name.
*Vuongie goes but comes back shortly. Girls still standing there*
Me: What are you doing?? Go back and maintain conversation!
*Vuongie goes back but as he does, the girls walk away*

haha! Vuongie changes the girl he wants to another. And then to another and then to another. Joe told vuongie he cant be picky.

Vuongie: THERE SHE IS!

in ear shot of the girl, she turns to face him and vuongie is pointing at her. She looks him up and down like an african american girl with attitude. Joe and I run away. hahah Joe tells vuongie not to say those things out loud. Joe told Vuongie 'The number one rule is to NEVER buy a girl a drink'. Vuongie said he understood. he was doing pretty well holding down a conversation with a girl until he disappeared to the bar. Oh no! was he buying her a drink?? Its too late!! He buys her one and she runs away. hahah

One of the girls vuongie wanted was dirty dancing with a dude. When helen asked him if he was her bf  he replied they were cousins. I spoke to him and ask him. I spoke to him in tagalog first but he didnt understand. I knew he was filo but he said he didnt understand tagalog. I poked him in the chest and told him he was at a loss. I asked him why he was dirty dancing with her if they are cousins, thats incest. He said she was actually he's ex.

Me: You went out with your cousin??
Guy: Well shes not my real cousin. I call her that because we're close family friends. We're still friends now. the guy she's dancing with right now is her boyfriend.

I dont know if he was telling the truth. I accidentally said something in tagalog again and he reminded me that he didnt understand. I poked him pretty hard with my nail and told him he was at a loss for the second time.

Guy: You just poked with your nail
Me: Did that hurt?
Guy: No

I scratched him a little bit harder. He smiled. He asked me for my number. I said no. He said, honestly, you dont want to give me your number? Honestly I didnt, I just wanted to know whats up with him and that girl. He asked me again and why i didnt wanna continue this conversation? I remembered back to korea, I said you appreciate things more when they are left unfinished. I told him I had to leave with my friend over there and I left him at the bar. I dont remember his name. Or even what he looked like.

I was mixing like crazy last night. Cider, white wine, tequila shot, vodka, scotch and coke. I didnt vomit or feel drunk. I was def tipsy and it felt good. I think I have a good tolerance to alcohol. Job well done liver.

My Kinda Phuong

Me: I'm going to do a maccas run. I'll swing past and throw cheese burgers at your window
Aurora: No! Don't throw cheeseburgers! You'll scare me!
Me: I'm going to do a maccas run. I'll swing past and throw cheese burgers at your window
Phuong: No! Don't throw cheeseburgers! Throw chicken burgers!

Feeling So Alive

FREEDAY

Friday i had work at jwow at 9pm. Dave comes in shortly with four pieces of Gami Korean fried chicken as I requested. He asked me if I wanted to go to Alumbra, entry fee, drinks and sheesha paid for. Okay. I feel bad asking Yao if i can finish early especially that there were a few people around still. I really needed the money but truth is, I just wanted to go clubbing. I'm still in holiday mode and when that happens, I overdress. We caught a cab to alumbra and I had my first grape/mint sheesha in over a month and I was overdosing on that shit. Sheesha mixed with alcohol makes you feel even more drunk. I met a lot of Dave's friends and bumped into a few familiar faces, including the ones i had served at jwow just under an hour ago.

The entrance fee and music at Alumbra is shit as. It's not my type of crowd but they did look very beautiful. The girls certainly dress to impress and it's difficult to tell which ones aren't a one night stand. I've heard from a friend that 'Alumbra girls are all sluts' which I think he means they are all very playful. And playful is where it ends. I can see where he is coming from. The girls go dressed up and all out, make up - hair - heels and move in packs. Cheerleader effect. A guy feels intimidated going up to them and if he does, he might get shut down because he's not good enough or maybe used for his money. Anyway. Thats just me being judgemental. Dave wanted to dance but I was hating the house music, I'd rather inhale second hand cigarette smoke on the deck and cough out blood for the next week. When I dance to house, i start off doing stupid little dance moves to loosen my body but after a while, I know i cant continue like this..

I get a msg from Dave telling me to meet him in the VIP room. The only reason why I got in before is because I was friendly with the bouncer and established a trust relationship with him.

Hey, my friend Albert is DJing. Can I go in and say hi?
Do you have a VIP wrist band?
No but I only wanna say hi. Promise. Give me 1 minute
One minute??
No, give me 30 seconds. Okay? Start counting ... now!

When I asked him how long I was in for he said 17 seconds. I said 'SEE??' So when I came back for another try my face was already familiar.

Hi can I say hi to my friend the DJ again?
I thought you already said hi
But I wanna say hi again, please?
Okay I'll give you 30 seconds
Can you times that by 10??? Okay thaaaaaankks! :D

Hehehehe I grab my friend and we're in. I liked the song choices in the VIP room. When a good song comes on I think 'I'm going to remember this song so I can listen to it when I get home' but i never do, its shit. I wish there is some way to bring up the songs I like (that I'm not aware of until they are played) from the past.

After Alumbra we were salivating for some Fun City Tasty Toasted Lamb Kebabs with lemon juice, garlic sauce and (paul's suggestion) cheese. We caught a cab to fun city kebabs before heading home, the cabby had a kebab too. hehe. I slept at 5am with a tummy full of kebabs.

SATURDAY

Wee hooo no hang over and its time to pick up my car from Keilor Plains station. I'm developing a bad habit of leaving my car at the train station over night because I cant drive after I drink, but I dont wanna take the bus to the station incase I dont end up drinking and need the car to go back home. I wish people weren't so fucking stupid to be stealing other people's property. I should be able to leave my car, locked and no have to worry about it not being there the next morning.

Saturday morning, my car is there. Relief! What is mine is still mine! I shower. Today is the day of my epic hair cut. Hair is very precious to a girl, especially if your someone like me who has grown their hair for SIX YEARS. I love hair, I'm very experimental with it and in the process has had to cop all the bleach, hair dyes and razor blades. My hair was accidentally longer on the right side because the fucking unqualified home hair dressers in Footnam left the bleach in for too long that my hair burnt and needed to be cut off. My hair, once so thick and healthy is becoming thinner because it just snaps off in the shower when I comb it. It was time for a hair cut.

The night before I was debating in my mind as to whether or not i would be happy with the outcome. I wanted something much shorter, up to my jaw line but still with the asymmetrical tail on the right side, just for comfort. If they fuck up my long hair I would be sure to cry. I felt like calling up and cancelling the appointment because I was nervous.

The next day I woke up really excited for this hair cut. YEHHH CUT IT OFFFFF! I went to Rising Angel on Sydney Road, Brunswick for the first time. I chose this place over Tony& Guy because the pictures on the website where pretty punky. Shaven, bright coloured hair, spikey.. really avant garde stuff. Plus they were also a pericing place. Kudo cool points. It was gonna cost me about $125. You know you're going to an expensive salon when they offer you coffee, tea or BEER!

Danny, the middle aged English born and rised, tattooed, pierced, skinny jean and tshirt wearing, unruly hair punk rocker/skater boy cut my hair. I briefly explained to him what I wanted in the nervous English I was using and showed him me pictures which he didnt take too long to look at. He was all over the situation and understood what I wanted because he didnt ask many questions. I told him what I would like and he would say what would or wouldnt look good. He's been a hair dresser for 10 years, trained with Tony&Guy and worked with Synergy, top fashion hairdressers. He's travelled around the world and even worked as a hair dresser in the resort at Uluru. He said, most of his friends growing up where in punk bands and they all cut each others hair - he was just better at it and decided to take up hair dressing. He's house mate used work at Rising Angel as a colour technician but not anymore. The house mate used to teach colour theory at Tony&Guy.

It felt good having my hair chopped off. I didnt see how much was on the floor bcoz the other girl swept it away. He told me to close my eyes for the entire time he was cutting my fringe until I hear him turn on a razor.. 'Dont be scared of the razor', Danny says. I have complete faith in him. the other hairdresser really liked my cut, saying she envied Danny for being the one to cut it. Hehe.

The cut ended up costing $100 which I was completely happy to pay for. I had a good hairdressing experience and felt so comfortable. I'm so happy I went there and cut my hair the way I did. Definitely go back and recommend to anyone who wants something crazy.

Check it out.
After 7 years of hair growing now this!

Inspiration

After the hair cut I had to pick up sheila from the train station. She was sleeping over because tonight we were gonna go out WOOOOHOOO. We drive to Victoria Street were we have Korean BBQ at Hallah with phuong and kathy. It was meant to be a triple date but I brought sheila because I'm incest. I shared two bottles of soju before we left to visit the good people at Jwow. I drink more alcohol here before we catch a cab to the Galley room where Amin was Djing and Rasheeda was celebrating her bday. It was good to see the Jwow crew, I missed them. The power tripping security guard was pissed me off but couldnt say shit to me when I had a VIP band on my arm. We danced a little, drank more until Dave unexpectedly came to take us to Loft.

I wasnt really down for Loft, been there done that and CB with entry fee ARGH. But I thought it would be good to take sheila to as many places as possible. Plus, if we went with Dave, we wouldnt have to cab it home. ka CHING.

Loft was no longer Loft. It was Club Yo-Yo, the new Se7en night club and it was OFF THE HEEZY. I wasn't aware that they had renovated the interior, black walls with white paint to highligh architrave's, high back single gold pimp chairs with the back facing towards the public.. the crowd was mixed, not fobby asians, no sleezes or try hard TB's.. there were Kanye quotes printed on large posters on the wall, and everyone was dancing. DJ Sef is my new and favourite club DJ because he had me and Sheila dancing for about.. 45 minutes? Maybe more?? We were high on nothing but water and sweating threw our clothes. I had so much fun and sure got the most outa my $20 entry fee, especially with all that iced water we drank. The only reason why we left is because the DJ sneakily changed the RNB to house. Ssshhhhiiiittt...

Tuesday Is The New Thursday

I had an average of 4.5hours sleep every work night since I arrived two weeks ago. I am surprisingly energetic when I wake up and manage to pull through the day sometimes without nana naps. If it was up to me, I could sleep for 9 hours but it seems my body is comfortable with 5 hours of sleep. I may have established a sleeping habit of 5 hours. RAPT! I have always admired Tita Grace's 5 hours of sleep energetic ways. Today i worked from 8-1pm. I spent 15 minutes of my shift choosing new shoes to buy and wear. Alexa Black Goat size 6. Yeeheee new SHOES! its been AGES but this time I feel guilty for buying. I'm not gonna get a lot of money in the next month and I've just spent half of what I would earn next week. Anyways, my shoes looked good and complimented my outfit. Every single one of the girls commented positively on how I looked. Aw thanks! ;)

I'm in the city a lot. Well aware of the fact that the Sydenham train departs from Melbourne Central, I like to walk to Flinders Street station. I'm exposed to the public a lot, taking public transport, walking around the city, going shopping.. I'm rarely at home. The number of conversations between randoms on the street is rising.

Tuesday as I was waiting for a friend at Fed Square, I was playing with some birds. They made me laugh and I looked up to see if anyone saw what the birds were doing. An asian guy came up to me for a chit chat. Turns out he arrived in Melbourne just a couple hours earlier, checked into a hotel and came straight out. It was his first time in Melbourne, he plans to stay for 12 days. He came alone. He's name was Roy and Roy was Korean. He's english was very good and he was a genuinely friendly guy. He studies dentistry in Korea, a course that goes for 8 years! But at the moment, he is travelling the world alone. ALONE! I admire that. My friend finally came and we were all talking. Roy eventually left probably feeling awkward at third wheeling. I was a little disappointed to see him go, I should have offered to show him around melb.

Interaction with nature

Today as I was walking through Australia on Collins I noticed a man walking the same pace as me. If I slowed he slowed, if i quickened to overtake, he continued beside me. He started a conversation with me saying that I looked familiar and did I work at the NAB? He asked for my background. I told him.

I saw you from back there, you have an interesting face.
Yes, I noticed that your walking pace slowed.
Yes, I wanted to talk to you.
Oh so I didn't look familiar??
No, no.. still familiar.

The man parted ways when I needed to take the escalator down. He said good bye and take care. I told him 'see ya later'. The outcome: not so creepy. When a random wants to talk to me,
I shut em down with body language. If they succeed with a conversation, often its a friendly and comfortable one. I feel like a total cocky bitch. Sometimes people just wanna say hi.

What I did after work:
Post office to send some filippino gifts to Nga
Myer to hand in availabilities
Visit Stu at Sure Store
Stand underneath the Flinders Street Station new cooling system which I think is clever
2:17pm train because the 2:01 never came
Drive home from station
Eat left overs
Go to Savers
Lazy Moes, Chicken Risotto for dinner, I never finish my food
Home
Visual merchandised my jewellery on my new table
Sorting out my shit

Today I went savers and impusively bought a coffee table. WOOOO! I love FURNITURE! its hand made buy someone like my dad. If you flip it over you can see the carpenter pencil markings and the varnish very roughly painted on. Its completely made of wood, heavy wood. Even heavy for vman to carry. I like. The table top is slices of tree trunk, showing lines indicating how old the tree is. It's so very beautiful. I had to have it for my future house. it cost me $40 and vman was there I had to get it today! Its currently in my room holding my all my jewellery :)

My new heavy weight wooden table

cant wait for saturday when I get a total hair restyle. I dont know how I'm gonna feel about loosing most of my hair. I'm kinda nervous but excited at the same time. If it was short, it will just have to remain boofy and spikey. Yes to healthy hair that doesnt break when i wash it with conditioner!

Toothpick

Shopping at a discount warehouse on Swanston
Guy: Excuse me, hi five for being beautiful? *smiling, hand already in the air*
Me: *laugh* Hi 5 *friend wants to hi 5 as well*
Guy: Where are you from?
Me: Here. I was born here.
Guy: I thought you had an accent
Me: I'm Australian just like you
Guy: I'm not Australian.
Me: Dont you have an Australian passport?
Guy: No. I'm Chilean, I was brought up in Rio de Janeiro
Me: Oh really?? Okay, nice

Me: Hi!
Guy: Hi!
Me: HI!
Guy: HI! Your bubbly. I feel *uses hand gestures*.. I feel.. bubbly now. do u want a cigarette?
Me: no it gives you cancer and harms ur unborn child, don't u care? I'm just trying to protect the innocent. Guy: I don't think I need to worry about that.*walks away without paying* Me: Omg, u just embarrassed urself in front of ur friends. How are you going to live this down? Guy: that's the least of my problems Me: bcoz harming ur unborn child with cigarettes is? Guy: I've had several... Me: what, babies? *looks up and down* Guy: no I mean.. Me: babies all around the world? Are u setting up franchises? Guy: I mean cigarettes. If I'm holding you up, just go... Me: *looks down at awkward handful of dirty glasses and bottles* I guess I can hold these for a bit longer Guy: I'm the guy people ask for for a cigarette. They see me coming and they come to me. I mean, you don't walk down the street and ask for a bite of someone's sandwich. It's annoying. Me: is it because ur wearing ur 'Free Cigarettes' t-shirt? Guy: no, my tshirt say 'No Free Cigarettes, Fuck Off' Me: well you gonna have to get seven of those tshirts printed up so you can wear it everyday of the week. The next time I see you you better be wearing the tshirts Guy: will that next time be here? Me: yep. This is my home, I own this place. Guy: yeah right..what nationality are you? Me: Australian. Raaghe is smashed.
Me: You cant go! We're not best friends yet!
Bob: We are best friends
Me: No! We need something to represent the bond
Bob: *picks up straw and ties it around my finger, I return the favour*
Me: Why do I get a short straw?
Bob: Because you're short. I get a long straw because Im long. I'm toothpick, you can use me any day.
Me: What are you gonna do with your last days in Melbourne?
Bob: Find a girl to have sex with. I mean, I have a few booty calls but I'm looking for some fresh fruit. I dont want the refrigerated fruit. You know what I mean?
Me: Fresh is healthier
Bob: Exactly.
Great minds think a like.
You know when a noisy room suddenly becomes quiet and you hear someone's totally out of context conversation? Well, Bob said:
That guy needs a penis up his ass
HAHA! Apparently he was talking about Dr. Dre?

GABOS

Mum is the unemotional type. Infact my whole family is the unemotional type. Mum talks about death like its nothing.

'Oh did you know Tito Manny died?'

Tito Manny? My bro's ninong who lived across the street from us in Kealba whom we've known all our lives, yes??? How did he die? When?

'Sunday 2am. Cancer of the colen, blood transfusion, general weakness of the body, starvation. Oh and
David Murray died too.'

Why?? When??

'Saturday 2pm. He was getting old and he didnt want to eat.

He starved himself?

Old people don't like eating.'

Mum works in a nursing home. She is surrounded by death, disease and heart break. Nothing can hurt her. So its an accomplishment when I do, if I do... I dont know if i have yet.

Being unemotional has its ups. I heard that emotion is a sign of weakness. gangstas dont show weakness.

GABOS.

From now since my last post I have been sketching feathers. I want this tattooed on me. I drew it on my inner fore arm and it looks good there. I also drew it on my bicep. It looks good there too but the pain of the tattoo will hurt too much. My original plan was to have it on my upper left shoulder, the feather starting from the bottom of my neck and ending near the start of my armpit. the feather will flow with my shoulder curve. I have yet to decide on the fill, line fill, light shading, dark shading, something realistic or cartoon?

Mum's gonna kill me. She hasnt seen my newly pierced ears. Perhaps she will tmrw.

Whenever I open up my Taylors Hill fridge I expect a site of glorious foods. Today there was salami. Mum knows how much I love that shit. She bought like 1 kg of it. I shoved about 50 grams in my mouth. Midnight binge eating. Wash it down with some black tea so I wont have to brush my teeth, bcoz drinking tea eliminates the need for brushing. Didnt you know?

I had Oriental Spoon dinner with Aaron today. We ate chicken but I only got through three pieces before I got a stomach ache. My empty tummy wasnt used to so much food at one time, something so oily too. Aaron's in a bad state so I shouted him to make him feel loved.

'Thanks chicken"

Make It Work

It's been 4 weeks since I've been behind a real bar. I was so happy to be working at Jwow again. After doing shitty jobs and being unhappy, i realise how important a job like jwow is to me. Working at jwow doesnt feel like work at all, I work with my bestest friends, I get to wear what ever I want including sneakers, I get to work with alcohol and meet some crazy people.
I'm also allowed to drink. hehe
$13 worth of tips each because we use change plates :) New guy at work today, his name is Alex.
The New Bar
Taking a break
Memorable Moments of 17.09.11
Vman's on his way to pick me up after work.
Yao: My boyfriend's picking me up. He's just behind that truck there. How are you getting home huh?? HUH??
Me: The TRUCK!
Marc creeps up behind me and james and hugs us both
Me: Oh, I was 'what the fuck' because I didn't know who you were
Marc: Its okay, its not like im some.. some kind of 'Ubing Monster'
Hero guy takes the broom off one of us and violently sweeps the floor. I get annoyed and snatch it from him.
Hero: You've probably seen me around Jwow a few times
Me: Never seen you before in my life, mate.
___________
FRiday was the opening night of Jwow. I didnt work because I ws still recovering from my 3 day fever syndrome. When I walked in, this familiar feeling of being home in the city came to me. I was so happy and excited to be here. I was smiling, to no one in particular. Weee weee. Every second person I said hi to and I did an excited hug saying "I'm so happy we're opened! I'm so happy to see everyone here!". People who I dont normally hug where a bit 'wth' about it.
I hung out with Drunk James, Lonely Andrew and then later Mexican Aaron. Every time Andrew or I ordered a drink, we did a shot. Vman was worried about me because I was drinking too much too soon with this fever of mine. I told him I was better now.
The next morning I woke up with either a hang over or more of the fever. I called in sick at Myer. I think I went overboard with the shots.
____________
Friday is also the day when I bought a rabbit. A white fluffy, red eyed, female lop earred 5 weeks old baby wabbit. It's timid and scared. I scoop it up in one hand and hold it to my chest. I talk to it like I was talking to a human baby. I tell it I would take good care of it. Ate was annoyed because I hadn't asked her if I could bring one home. She asked why didnt I tell her?? She wasn't impressed when I replied 'Surprise!!'
The rabbit's name is Pokeball. She was one out of 3 rabbits and I chose her because when the keeper held her on her back she looked so cute. Just like a Pokeball.
She's a snowball of angel fluff with ears sticking out.
I let her run around my room and hope she doesnt piss or shit everywhere, or anywhere.

A Turn of Events

I've had this 39+ degree fever for 48 hours now. It comes inclusive with back tingles, muscle pain in particularly the back, headache and disorientation, shivers and a general weakness of the body and mind.
15 minutes after I quit at Red Rock, Myer called me into to work that day and the day after. I asked to leave 1 hour early from work at Myer because I wasn't feeling 100%. I also called in my first sickie today, although I wouldn't like to call it a sickie because I was an emergency and Ladies Wear isnt my department.
I was so knacked with this fever that I sat in the tea room staring into space. I didnt notice the trial of drool that slipped out of my mouth and on to my skirt. I looked down and didnt bother to care if any one saw, or even to wipe it off. My priorities were different today. Rest. Sleep. Warm. Home. I counted my break from when I entered and left the tea room, not when I left the floor. I didnt care if I got in trouble I wasnt in a good mood so today would be a perfect day to fight me.
I cracked my phone screen in the Myer toilets as I was taking a 10 minute break. I dropped it at knee height on tiles. fucking hell. with a phone as expensive as this can't they make these screens a little more durable??? or even scratch resistant?? the camera glass fell out too. at least it still senses my touch.
The Red Rock breakup wasn't a positive one. The HR manager was frustrated and disappointed in me because I didn't wanna sick it out doing cafe jobs til Little Ludlow opened.
3am?? What did I tell you about calling at inapproriate times?
The managers phone are manned 24/7 and I wanted to give ample time to have my shift covered
The managers aren't meant to know what we spoke about
I thought the duty managers would know eventually
You weren't patient enough. I made it clear in the interview that you would have to work at these places til the bar opened
You might think you made it clear but I didnt know what it was gonna be.
So you're not going to finish your shifts with us?
Yeah nah
There's no point in arguing with you.
I seriously didnt know where I couldve been more fair about this whole quitting situation. I spoke to him on two occassions before this phone call, he told me to either choose Myer or Red Rock, he told me I was on a 2 week trial period so I could see for myself if I liked it or not... I chose Myer over Red Rock and I quit during the trial period.
Today I had to face them because I needed to give back my Visitors Security pass, the Crew Card, and their uniform. I met with Simon the friendly and timid duty manager.

I went to the doctors for the first time in years regarding an illness that isnt cancer. It was my 39 degree fever that ate and vince had been bugging me to see a doctor about. I dont like doctors because they prescribe me medicine and I cant swallow solids like tablets and capsuls. I dont like medicine because I believe my immune system, void of medicines since I was 14 years old, is one tough maaaaaafucka. I like to keep my body as drug free as possible. I also believe that I can sleep off any sickness.
The doctor said it was a common viral infection. I needed rest, vitamin C and if I wanted, panadol and nurofen. He said they made liquid nurofen for babies, if I liked.
Man in the doctors' waiting room
I dont think these are real
Vman despite his tiredness and early start tmrw morning came straight from work to take care of me. He took me to st. albans for pho which tasted like shit at Ha Long, then to the doctors and then to Melbourne airport to hand in my things.
I dont remember when the last time I was this sick so this is a big deal to me. Vman reckons I overworked myself. I think it may be a combination of lack of fresh air, cheap shoes = back pain, quick/sudden/repetitive movements, and a general unhappiness which let down my immune system and welcomed disease and infection to enter and spread.
I have learnt something though, being happy/laughing when your unwell makes headaches go away. Even if your faking it. I tried it from 12:30pm - 6pm at Myer.
____________
All good things come to an end but it was good while it lasted.
I've just finished reading the Alchemist and I've made more sense of it now than I did the other 2 times I've read it.
One point of the story is to value the moment that is now, do not dwell on the past or wonder about the future. Focus on the present so you can enjoy every moment of this fleeting moment.
I've never had to deal with this situation before. If I read into it like I normally do when I like to cause myself emotional torment, I would say my pride and dignity is no more. My heart skipped a beat and I was shattered. It was Edgardo Tuazon breaking up with me in year 8. However I wont read into it. I'm mature. I need lessons like these. I cant have everything my way and continue to do the wrong thing just because I get away with it. I learnt that when people have mutual respect for each other, things won't be awkward or spiteful.
How I'd hate it to be awkward or spiteful.
If I was any other person, I'd say I've had a bad week. But I'm not gonna put it all down to luck. This isn't fate. This is all up to me. I make my own luck.

Is It That Time Already?

I like this technique. Going into a shit job with rock bottom expectations. I came out of the airport paid and sane. I lived another day. I developed a strategy to make 8hours fly by:
  • Don't look at the time unless by accident
  • If bad things happen, think that there are worse things to come, then your 'bad' wont be bad
  • Work for as long as you can until you take your first break, after you come back from break all refreshed you will be delighted to know there is only 1 hour left til home time
  • Get sent home 30 minutes early
Yay! home time at 9:30pm. Today I was a little more on registers. I was 8 minutes early. I was asked by 3 authority figures where my apron was, I said I forgot it at home. I made new friends, a pretty Indian girl with a nose ring. It prompted me to get a nose ring. I wish my skin was darker so my nose bling stands out more. I made a filo friend too with a Spanish surname of 'Villacorta'. Sounds so hot.
Mum's mum's surname is also hot and Spanish, 'Valencia'.
I had a Italian Croque Monssieur today. It was a heart attack on a plate. Toasted bread filled with tasty cheese, salami, ham with cream cheese packed on top. This was heated in the oven. It was divine. You must be a cheese and salt lover for this one.
During my break I sat down with a piece of paper and pen. I titled the paper 'Sorting Out My Life' and orgainsed which days of the week I want to give to Tony Bianco, Jwow, Red Rock (and Myer). Red Rock Monday - Wednesday, Tony Bianco Thursday, Saturday - Sunday, Jwow Friday and Myer nothing. I don't think I want to stay and work there, especially not in shoes. If I was in the basement then I may give up Red Rock for it. I only want Myer for their staff discount, not that I buy much from myer but team member discount on top of customer discounts = max 65% off.
Note that I have not allocated any days off for myself. Its okay. I'm young, and a gun. I can hack it. I wanna work so much I don't need to go to the gym. Calf muscles at Tony Bianco from wearing high heels, traps and biceps muscles at Jwow from the cocktail shaking and putting my mental health to the test at Red Rock.
_____________
Last Friday I went out and got tipsy for the first time in a while. I started it off at Match bar with James and Sean and drank 1 litre of apple cider. I was tipsy after the first one, I can tell I'm tipsy because my face feels hot, i purse my lips more than often, and I think I am more well spoken. I was having a discussion with Sean, a graphic design teacher at Grenadi School of Design about design and how it can improve the world. I had prepared questions for him because I ran out of Adobe CS Illustrator questions.
Questions:
  • Some large companies invest just as much money on design as they do with their finance and marketing teams. How can design and design thinking help large businesses such as banks, fast food chains, law firms, who would otherwise doubt the importance of design? And what would you say to convince them otherwise? (Besides advertising/promotion)
  • How can design or design thinking solve 'real' problems such as famine and poverty?
  • What is the different between art and design?
  • What does the process of design involve and what is the outcome?
  • The modernist believe that 'good design' is simple, true to materials and 'form follows function'. What do you think 'good design' is?
  • You seem to think that design is a tangible thing.
  • Everyone is a design because design comes naturally, it's instinctive.
Sean was a little taken by my questions. We spoke about evolution, religion in particularly Christianity, nature and society in this discussion. It was good because he disagreed to what I thought and I heard his side of the story. I learnt that I had ambitious, idealistic and conceptual views on design.
I need more of this, these intelligent conversation.
At the bar I did a shot of Chivas 12 YO with James and my favourite bartender, Kris. I had to run outside to get my cider for chaser when I saw him pour it. I almost threw up in my mouth. I had to do the shot in two sections. I skulled the last quarter of my 500ml cider in attempt to wash away the disgusting taste. But I needed more. Kris noted the tear that had come down the side of my eye.
I went to Phuong's Design auction to steal some food. Then to Ramen Ya on Bourke Street to eat with Aaron and Yao. We went to Charlie's Bar on Hardware Lane to meet with Mel and Marty. It was 9pm and I had decided to go home.
500mls of Cider x2 thanks
Riots at QV, Max Brenner.
They weren't happy with their hot chocolates
_________
I hung out with my favourite cousin all weekend. Sheesha smoking on Sydney road, I only feel out of place at the beginning when all eyes are on us as we enter. Then after a few deep inhalations of the sweet grape and soothing mint, I have not a care in the world. I wish I could've put my feet on the couch and pass out with the sheesha in my mouth so that every puff in was a sheesha. The place was full of Arabic speakers. A little intimidating.
All of a sudden, one middle ages man stopped the music and called out something in arabic to everyone in the shop. They all looked, some replied. What was going on??? But I stopped freaking out when the music was put back on.
Ahhh back to my smoking.
We went to Charlies on Gordon Street, Footscray. The last time I was there I wasn't meant to be seen with the person I was with for reasons that could've gotten me bashed. Last night I was there, Vince's friends were too. Did it look wrong that I was having a 12 midnight meal with my favourite cousin whom they might not have known he was only my cousin?

So Pro

A phone call wakes me up this morning.
Lady: 'This is Myer personnel, can you work today'
Me: 'Yep. Sure. What time?'
Lady: 'As soon as you get here, how about 1pm?'
Me: 'I'm sorry, I just woke up. What's the time now?'
'Lady: 11:30am'
Okay Myer, so you come crawling back.
I worked from 2-7pm. Working at Myer is easy peasy. I actually like working there. Perhaps not in the ladies shoes department because theres a lot of walking, sorting, finding, cleaning to do and it must be done constantly. Also, I feel that i work harder than a lot of people there who like to hide in the back room and gossip, use their phones, or dump shoes in the shelves if they cannot find its real home. I clean up after these people.
I hadnt worked at Myer for 3 months so I was rusty. We werent busy today. So I browse through the shoes on sale. They are 50% off the marked prices.. plus I get a staff discount on top. I like figuring out how much discount I'd get. Oh look, a pair of knee high lace up boots for $25, oh those shoes Ive been eyeing are $35 now.
Must.
Not.
Spend.
Money.
I. Dont.
HAVE!
I feel cool wearing Myer uniform and lanyard/name tag. Come at me.
In love with Melbourne City

A Day With My Sister

Pick up ate from sunshine as she dropped her car off to be serviced
Masters, Ballarat Road, Braybrook The 'new' Bunnings and man you are 10 times better. There customer service workers to help you, not hide from you. Matthew, the knowledgable but young sales assistant who specialised in paint thoroughly helped us buy materials for our recently renovated bathroom. From primer, top coat to accessories such as rollers, and stirrers. He gave us tips. He even carried our shopping and offered to wheel around my trolley. Nice young man.
The 'new' Bunnings, Masters, even has a maccas inside the store. AND a sausage sizzle which is pretty much what Bunnings is known for. Channel 7 news was there, and many mature couples dressed up in suits and high heels. We arrived at 830am and by the time we left at 9am the car parking was full. Today was only the 2nd day they had opened.

Parking in footscray is crazy. Lucky ate was driving a little car. Otherwise the entry into Footscray station car parking wouldve been death. As i have learnt very early on, there are no rules in footscray, this includes road and parking rules.
Footscray Parking. Make your own rules
I got a, what the vietnamese waitress called 'sly beef wee rye noodol' and ate got the 'sly beef an beef bowl wee rye noodol'. I got a small and she a medium. I used up all the basil and bean sprouts. It didnt phase me that these were probably washed and reused. I was brought up with a St. Albans immune system. Come at me!
Savers, Shank Town
I go crazy.
  • $25 Dark purple Dr. Martins, yellow stitching. A perfect fit!
  • $17 Vintage Adidas Original parachute zip up jacket for resale
  • $10 Nikey shoes for resale
  • $7 Green silk sleeveless top
  • $6 White button up sleeveless top

I want this ring!!! But I am seriously scrapping the bottom of the barrel for any lost silver coins. It's $14. Silver. Two finger ring. Its VAMPIRE FANGS. I love chunky ass morbid jewellery. Chains, hand cuffs, scissors, blood, FANGS.. gimme. Currently transferring money out of my savings into my spending account so I can buy this tmrw.
Tony Bianco, Melbourne Central
Second round interview. I met the manager of the Melbourne Central store, Vanessa. They want me to come for ANOTHER trial. Far out. Tmrw at 12pm. Will I know then if I have the job??

Back massage.
Face cleanser.
Deep heat mask.
Oxygen therapy.
My cheeks feel puffier?
Amateur manicure and pedicure.
I warned the lady I was very ticklish. She would try not to tickle me. She didn't. It was actually pretty gentle. Maybe I couldve taken the normal pressure? The massage probably went on for 25 minutes. I could hear her wrist clicking in my ear when she twisted it a certain way. Ugh. I don't find massages relaxing. It's nice, but not as nice as I think most people think they are. My mind races as I lie there with my head in the cushion.
This feels like a porno scene. Guy massages naked girl. Girl moans. Guy asks girl if she would like a breast massage. Girl says yes. Girl moans. I contemplate the grey area where massages become more than an innocent act. I feel massages arent innocent at all. And i feel weird trying to make believe it is. I feel quite awkward.
I think about how ate's going in the next room. I think about how this is such value for money and how much of a nice person ate is. I wonder from which part of the world this lady is from. I think about last night and how i felt about it. I woke up with a bruise on my chin probably because my face was in the pillows all night. That's different. I think about going to centrelink tmrw and my tony bianco trial.. oh i must remember to contact sean about Illustrator tutorials and Kathy about my tony bianco trial. So this is what will happen in my core biopsy... Will I be scared when it happens? Today I am feeling pleasure but later it will be pain. I can hack it. Right? Hrm. When does this massage end?
I came to a conclusion, the reason why im not enjoying this as much because I know this is free.
Footscray Station, Shank Town
Ate's faithful Toyota Yaris a waits our arrival at the near empty dodgy carparking. Ate tells me she's a passionate supporter of Kiss FM Radio Station. She pays $55 to become a Kiss FM member which helps them stay live on air. She says 'If I didnt have Kiss, I'd die'. Okay lady. I tell her I know someone who DJ's on Kiss FM. His name is MJ a.k.a Michael Jordan who also DJs at strike and organises Uptown Groove at the Order of Melbourne on Friday nights. The DJ on Kiss mentions 'MJ'.
I hear a familiar voice on the radio. This familiar voice is introducing 'Smoke Weed Everyday'. Hrm. The familiar voice says '100% Phat'. MJ likes his hip hop music. I msg MJ via mobile phone.
Me: '100% Phat! Smoke weed everyday. Gimme a shout out Jenny and Janette in the next 5 mins :)'
The DJ on Kiss stops the song after its done. I turn up the radio
DJ: 'I've got all these shout outs to do tonight! I wanna say a big hello to Jen Sato. I can't wait to touch your cute little nose!! And a shout out to Janette'
I smile and clap my hands like an trained seal I'm that excited! I got us a mention on the radio! hehe I'm so happy. It was MJ on the radio and he said hi to meee :)
MJ: Did you hear? Me: Haha! Yesssssss! Thank you! We were clapping in the car, so excited! Facebook status that shit :D
MJ: You're famous now!
Me: Hehe Rank you pimp daddy! MJ: No problem nose cutie!
I turn to ate like a sikunt:
'Yeh... you meet some pretty interesting people at jwow'

Goodnight Friends and Wankers. That Was My Friday.

13 hour epic shift at jwow last night. 9 hours sleep but the body feels tired and muscles ache. Especially my back, chest and calves. Jwow is my weekly cardio exercise. Pumpin. Vman drove me home after i finished at 4 in the morning. I was talking the whole way, I had so many stories to tell. Many angry moments and also funny moments. the good balanced the bad, so I don't know if i had a good day or not.
Fuck Off Moments
  1. Stuck Up Bitches She said she'd come back when I had finished making her cocktail. But she didn't so I ended up bringing it over. When I did, no eye contact, acknowledgement or thank you. Okay. Her older friend yells out 'EXCUSE ME!' and beckons me with her scrawny finger. I roll my eyes, how rule of this 50 year old. I know you're 50. Or at least you look it. Scrawny fingers: "Does this cracker smell funny?" Me: "I'm not sure. I'll check it against the rest of the packet" Cocktail bitch: "Oh, and can you check the used by date?" The rest of the stuck up bitches crack up in laughter. I roll my eyes, ignored her and walked away. I check the used by date. shit. I was in deep shit. I was acting like a sikunt to these people and I was in the wrong???! Ugh, Jwow why must you embarrass me when I back you up?!? Let down. My pride. I think of how to talk my way out of this. Marc was doing his sweet talk thing. thank god for marc. Marc i love you. Scrawny fingers: "Look at us. We're happy, see??? Ha haa. Ha aaaaa" She had a fake smile on and bobbed her head side to side. They were happy.
  2. Picky Ey So we're running out of wine glasses. Everyone wants to drink wine. This lady buys a bottle. I give her small wine glasses. Asian lady: Can I have wine glasses? Me: Here Asian lady: I'm not drinking out of these. Me: Why don't you shove em up your loose asshole then. I wish.
  3. The Indian guy Aaron warned me about him. The puny Indian young guy, drunk and thinking he was 'all that' with the ladies. I walk past them and into the storage room. He and his friends were howling like wolves and wolf whistling. I turn around, they look to the ceiling to avoid eye contact. But that Indian guy keeps looking to see if I'm still looking. Yes, wanker, I am. I give him the finger. The memorable finger gesture I was speaking about in my previous post. There was so much anger in that finger I swear I was gonna snap off my other fingers holding my middle one up. My face was burning. Teeth clenching. I was completely sober. I wanted to fight. Disrespectful wankers. How dare they. He sees. And the group of guys hush hush and whisper quietly. I come out of the storage room. White guy: Sorry about my friend. Don't pay any attention to him Me: I won't
  4. The White Guy (another white guy) I thought he was cool. He was my friend for the night. Except this time he was staring at me dead straight in the eye. It made me feel uncomfortable. Me: What are you staring at? White guy: (in a drunken trance) Me: Didn't your mum ever tell you its rude to stare? White: (trance) Me: What?? White guy: (reaches over to fondle my cheek) Me: Don't touch me! (angry) White guy: Why are you being mean to me? Me: Coz you're staring at me! White: Don't let my girlfriend hear you speak like that Me: Stop looking at me White: What's wrong with that? Me: I don't want that kinda attention. Look over there (points) White: What? Me: Look over there!! and we're cool! (angry) White: (looks away for .5 seconds) Me: Okay good. We're cool. Break the wrist and walk away. Break the wrist and walk away. He comes up to me after. Apologises. I see sincerity in his eyes. I made me understand that he made me feel awkward and I wasn't gonna feel awkward while i was at work. Okay. We're cool. I was outside with Aaron. White guy comes bolting out, followed by one of his friends and then a very angry and screaming joey. Omg. Apparently white guy threw a glass at the wall and ran off. Apparently he was aiming at a girl. Fucking wanker all along.
  5. The Asian Guy Oh didnt he think he was so hot. We needed to hit a budget today so I put up with this guy longer than I should've. I just wanted to make money out of him. Me: What do you want? Asian: What do you want? Me: I'm not allowed to drink. I'm a bartender. Asian: Bullshit. You're drunk already. Look! You're red! Me: I am not. I haven't drunk all day Asian: What? So you didnt drink water?? Me: You asked if i was drunk. I said I havent dranken all day. We're obviously talking about alcohol. Asian: Nah so you didn't drink water all day! Me: Okay. What do you want? (a.k.a. just gimme your money) Asian: What do you want? Me: Okay I'm gonna walk over there and when I come back you're gonna tell me what you want Asian: Okay go walk and come back Me: Nah seriously, what do you want? Asian: Nah go walk and come back Me: okay ill walk but I won't come back I walk. And so do they. I hear the guys laughing their doofy laughs, saying "Nahh man, you gotta wait til she comes back to you!" Fucking gooses. Ugh. They bought 20 drinks. We took $160 out of their pockets and absolutely smashed out budget. Now drink ur drinks and fuck off.
  6. And there was that other incident. x2 I was in a bad mood already.
Good Times
  1. Hungry Jacks. I love you and hate you. I wolfed down the best and freshest whopper burger that I have ever had from the Melbourne Central Hungry Jacks. I also had large chips. I wolfed it down so fast I felt so sick. But went to get Noodle Kingdom dumplings for the mains :)
  2. Looking on with glitter in my eyes. There was a new group at jwow last night. A subtley cool group. You know how I love my subtley cool people. Quality plain or quiet patterned button up shirts. Trademark khaki Dickies work pants. Infa red air max 90's. Textured old man hats, not to the back or side, but to the front. Only a small group of people knew they were Kangol. It didn't even have to boast with loud colours or oversized logo. I knew. I quietly acknowledged their style. the only thing that was loud about their style was the New York Yankee vintage baseball jackets they were wearing. Did they see my Timberlands? They were talking about me. They drank Southern comfort, bourbon, scotch and Johnny Walker Black on two cubes of ice. They tipped more than the usual customers. Rich and gangsta? Ulimate hip hop heads. Four dollllars, four dollaaars!! They were outside on Little Lonsdale street. The side walk was packed to the rafters with these subtley cool people. Apparently they were a group of poppers. They were breakdancing in the middle of the road. But not like show off/sikunt gangsters coz they respected the passing traffic. The bootilicious African lady clung on to the Dickies wearing African guy leaning on the back of a car. Passers buy and Strike/Match Bar security were watching on. Admiration? Curiosity? I was watching a film clip. I was feeling this positive and natural vibe. This is Jwow.
  3. Customer Interaction: Luke He taught me how to make a Gin Martini. Ice in cocktail shaker Olive 1.5 Shots of Larios Gin A very tiny sliver of lemon Shake Noilly Prat Sweet vermouth swished around the insides of the martini glass and *Luke's special and quiet forceful SHAKE of the martini glass* Strain gin into martini glass I shook his hand and give him a discount.
  4. Customer Interaction: Tam I was trying to sell him shots of Aha Tora Tequila. I let him try the Anjeo and the Resporado but he didnt like it. He was a solid Patron enthusiast. Me: What's wrong with Aha Toro? It sits next to the Patron on the top shelf. Do you know Mailek? Tam: Yeh I know Mailek Me: Mailek loves Aha Toro. He always drinks it. Tam: I don't trust Mailek.. HAHA! He taught me and Cheese the importance of good tequila. He believed tequila should not be served with salt or lemon. It should be drunken straight and it should feel good doing it. He rather pay double the price for top shelf tequila because so matter how much you drink, you will apparently never wake up with a hang over. Tam spoke about having a relationship with alcohol and Patron in particular. Tam: Drinking Patron is like having the best sex in your life. When I see her in the street, I just want it right now, all night. Me: So when I'm trying to sell you Aha Toro... Tam: It's okay, it's nice... I might try it once but never again... When I see that Patron, I just want it. HAHA! I'll always remember him with his story. Tam: I shouldn't have told you!! >.<

Telemarketing

Guy on the phone: Hi, I'm from your electricity company. I'm calling you up to help you save money on your bill. As you know they've been a recent increase in rates. Hm, this guy sounds very aussie and down to earth. Usually telemarketers are Indian, talkative and non-negotiable. I better ask him: Me: Oh, is this a telemarketing thing? Guy: .. yeh Me: No thanks, we're not interested Guy: What, your still paying money? Me: I don't take care of the bill Guy: True.. Me: Haha! Thanks anyway bye. Poor things. The jobs they do for money. I hope I will avoid doing shitty jobs for money. I've slept for 12 hours after being awake 32 hours. Yesterdays status:
I woke up on Sunday at 2pm. Its now Monday 4pm. Wow. 26 hours
Sleep so good. I dreamt I made Hwi a chocolate cake. And everyone started eating it before I could give it to him. So I had to muster all the left over slices and present it in a pretty way like nothing happened. It's now 11:45am. Usually I would wake up in 3 hours. But im glad im up. the sun is shinning and its a glorious 27 degree day. I am awake to notice it. Perhaps this is the end of my fucked up sleeping pattern. Or not Today I've gotta meet up kylie in the city. I have to buy phuong a birthday present. And ive got to go to uni for the opening of the Study Tour exhibition. I'm happy to see my friends again :)

Home is Where I Can Look Like A Bum & Not Be A Bum

Check out mine and vince's tom yum hot pot.
Tom YUM!
14hour shift last night with no proper break. are you fucking crazy? rachel zoe says
UGH!
you could say im desparately looking for another job. need more money. gotta pay for things that im not used to e.g. bills, food, BUS MONEY and my fucking Metro fine for travelling on a concession card without having a valid concession card - it was expired exactly 17 days before my fine and i was in the literal process of getting it renewed! Swinburne stamped my application form on the 16th, i got fined on the 17th and i fully processed my card on the 18th. UGH! such fucking luck. i love swearing. today i woke up in pain and frustration. I finished work at 5am, slept at 6am and woke up at 2:30pm. i told bentot my tummy was rumbling. he asked me what my tummy was saying. i told him my tummy was saying
crispy skin chicken and tomato rice and taro ice blend
bentot said he would get ready and take me :) AW! he so sweet to me. last night, when me, helen and cheese were so obviously dead tired from work, vince came in and helped. he took the broom off me, and swept the floor. i started mopping. when he finished sweeping, he came over and took the mop off me. aw. both me and helen tried to fight for the mop, with all the energy left in our small and hungry bodies, but vman was still persistent. we just left him to it. closing last night wasn't so bad. mainly because everyone fucked off and we closed 30 minutes early. we dedicated our $10 each tip money to buy 2 large pizzas and garlic bread - delivered. we rounded up the customers, locked jwow and waited outside for our pizza - cleaning can be done after. we kicked back on the state library bench for ages and it was the 1st bit of fresh air i had in 12 hours. it was also my first proper break. i immediately felt better. Ty, our friendly and best DJ has some pretty cool friends. Mebz, my 2nd favourite customer works at an African Resto on Brunswick street called Nyala. I really hope i go and check it out this Wednesday since i didnt go last week.. i did have this annoying customer though. she was nice and friendly at first. then she came up with a chewy on her pants.she said the chewy was under her table and when she crossed her legs it got stuck on her knee. she said
i at least want the dry cleaning paid for
i told her to fuck off. nah not really. i told her
we cant control people who put chewy under our tables. we obviously dont WANT people to put chewy under our tables. a customer has never come up, demanding to have their dry cleaning paid for because they sat on some chewy.
her come back was
well it was within your establishment and these are a very expensive pair of pants
what..? those velvet things? ugh. fuck off. she pissed me off the whole night. really. i wish i didnt have to be surrounded by such fake, pretentious, upperclass, materialistic, demanding, illogical, superficial kunts. everyone is happier being kick back. John Travolta says
Be cool.
Vince and his mum picked me up and we went off to St. Albans to carry out the orders of my tummy. Vince's mum needed medicine so we waited in the parked car behind Safeway. We witnessed a drug deal. Facebook status that shit. I had my crispy chicken hit, i also had a strong ass iced coffee vietnamei style. then we started shopping for ingredients for our Hot Pot tmrw. As I walked down st. albans I realised how relaxed and at home I feel. I know where everything is, I know the old men will stare but I still feel comfortable walking past, I know those gangsta looking asians arent so intimidating because judging by their hair, they're only in high school. So So St. Albans

Graffiti: Kealba!
I love St. Albans because it is my home. It's where I grew up and I compare the rest of the world to it. I have so many memories here. I had no make up and wore my PJ pants today. I didn't feel self conscious at all. Then it hit me, home is not where you grew up, but a state of mind. Home is where you feel comfortable just being you. Love. After i got home I had to get ready to head out into the city. I lay in bed for 20 precious minutes because my body still hurt from last night. I didnt think I'd wear my heels because my calves were mattered. but i did, It helped a little that I stretched. I whipped up something in 10 minutes and surprised myself with the final result. vman's waiting outside OFF WE GO! i reached jwow. I drank me 2 glasses of sangria. i was lonely because I was by myself. I was waiting for cheese and helen. I spoke to Joey, our father-figure security guard. he was watching his car because he parked in a disabled spot and didnt wanna get fined! JOEY! I told him to move it, he said he was waiting for someone on Lt. Lonsdale to move their car. as we were complaining about paying fines, some guys right infront of us started up their car! joey, without warning, cut our convo/stopped his job and held his hand out to the guys in a 'stop' motion. he asked the guys to not move yet, joey didnt wanna loose the park to someone else. The guys started up their cars when joey was ready to park. I helped him parallel park. Joey, from the drivers seat looked and said to me with the biggest smile:
Lucky
haha! he made me laugh. he was so proud. he told me he does that every week! hahaha. aww joey. people like him make me think there is more good in this world. seeing people like him break my heart when i see them mistreated by the bad guys. I want to be surrounded by good people. always. helen and steve came. a large group of us did rum, contrieu, chambord and lime shots which was quiet strong. it was cheese's birthday. one more drink and we had to catch the 10:30pm Hall Pass movie session at the Coburg Drive Ins. It took me a while to order 2 vodka lime and sodas, one in a short glass and one in a tall glass for Princess Hwi. He was so happy when I presented him with it at the DJ booth. You could see it in his eyes. A drink well needed. Perhaps. I downed that drink in a record 3 minutes and took my 3rd piss of the day. The Coburg drive in's are haunted. I did not want to go to the toilet there. I did a quick, hug, kiss good bye to everyone and left the back way to buy some chips and drinkies at safeway. drive ins were fun. the movie wasnt. it was american. sexist. predicatable. corny. but good times. I sat in the back seat of Dave's very pretty car and was careful not to mark the leather seats, or wipe my hands on it. Dave kindly escorted me to the toilets when i cudnt hold it in. Dave also kindly drove me home. i felt so bad because i was very much out of the way. he wudnt accept the $5 i gave him for petrol money. so he left it in my mailbox according to his facebook post. ugh! todays rating: 8/10 Have I mentioned this song before?
