Tea & Chicken

This is the second day in a row I wake up at 11:30am. Last night i didnt get to bed til about 4am because I was up blogging. Thats how I spend my Saturday nights these days, blogging. Vman suggested we go to the Glow In The Dark Mini Golf at Docklands today.

It's quite often that vman has been the one calling and proposing things to do on date days, when usually it is the other way around. I'm just not trying hard enough these days. Or maybe it's because he's signed up to Living Social which sends him emails about things to do in Melbourne.

We parked at QV and i got myself a black seasame seed bubble cup. Vman had dinner at Don Don's. Then we went to Dangerfield so I could by my silver 'fang' two finger ring that i was frothing over the other day.

We checked out the pet store downstairs and I fell in love with these cute female white lop earred baby rabbits. They snuggled so close to each other for warmth as they slept that you it was confusing to see how many there were! I was so close to buying one ... I wanted to carry it with me everywhere I went.

We walked past Diva and I saw a sign that said $10 ear piercings all weekend! A toothy smile appeared on my face. I walked directly to the counter without saying a word, I was in a trance and piercings were all I could thing of. $10 included two piercings, two studs and the ear spray. I chose the biggest silver stud there (because I know these were the most expensive and after my holes healed I would use these elsewhere) and sat on the counter. I got both my lobes pierced. The young girl behind the counter didnt seem so confident in dotting my ears symmetrical so I helped her with my left ear. After it was done, I realise the left pierce was further from the first as the right pierce was to my first. I dont want to think about it too much because I'm a perfectionist with little things about appearance and dwelling on my piercing a few millimetres lop sided will eventually kill me.

We headed over to Harbour Town and then glow in the dark mini golf. I bet vman by 3 points. I think I was quite good. I was the only one who got a whole in one (by fluke of course) and I produced no fail moments like vman did on a few occasions.

1. Tried to hit the ball over a close range obstacle but ended up in the exact same position
2. Took a strong hit at the ball but bounced back, through the plastic curtains and out of the room. The second time he hit it, the same thing happened but the ball landed further out of the room

Docklands

We had dinner at Oriental Spoon. I tried this tasty Honey and Citron tea which I need to learn how to make. We ordered fried chicken, bulogi and rice. One meat dish and rice would be plenty for the average couple. I gave up after eating a handful of chicken, my rice and some bulgogi but vince, the beast, the machine, finished the rest. Big boys need a lot of food!

I spoke to my mum today. She got a 'hello' when she arrived, a 'bye' when she announced her departure and a 'go awayyyyyy' when she started meddling in business that wasn't hers.

I was playing with my cousin's baby, Ysabella, today. She's the cutest, content, and playful thing of her size. She loves me because she pats my head when I'm not looking at her and sometimes tries to climb on my arms. I did this thing where I grabbed her on the lower body, she forces her head downwards so she tips out of my arm! If i didnt think fast and held her up by the chest she would have smacked her forehead into the tiles, and THEN who would've got the blame for it??? How can babies be so careless.

It was just me, ate and anio at the end of the night... plus our partners Jack, Vman and Rhea. I was not only hanging out with Anio and Ate, but we were all TRIPLE DATING! What a first, and it wasn't awkward. It was kinda cool actually. We watched TV, Fear Factor! They were eating worms. I dry renched four times. Phuong and Josh came over a bit later and it became a Quadruple date. I've never been on a Quadruple date before.

After feeling down last night, my baby surprised me today with an early and extremely generous birthday present. He says that I needed it for my design work, and despite the recent events, he believed I was a good designer. Vman said he wanted to inspire and motivate me. This is the second laptop he's given me. Thank you Vman, you put me before you and your family too many times and it makes me feel really guilty. But you do make me so happy I was teary :)

a mac book pro! I went to the doctors today to cure my nocturnal sleeping habits,

but I think I'm fine the way i am. Things are fine the way they are.

I went on a date with my boyfriend. We had Ramen Ya for breakfast then went window shopping at Melbourne Central then to Ikea. We finished the date off at Jwow with some Rekordalig Pear Cider for me and scotch and dry with lime for bentot.

Breakfast Munch

I can't sleep again. Back to my old sleeping pattern. Usually I fall asleep by now but its getting later and later. I wake up later too. I'm fucked for when I get a new job. I have to cook vman breakfast tmrw. I'm defrosting sausages as we speak. I plan to cook them, mash potatoes, scrambled eggs, fried tomato and buttered wholemeal toast. I think the only fatty thing there is the sausages. Vman will be very happy and will love me forever

Ugh. job hunting is a bitch. And interviews are a bitch. i just wanna be immature and fast forward to more fun times. My body is tired and its only 11:27pm. I was in high heels all day.

went to uni then to highpoint for a job interview. I find out tmrw if im successful or not, but to be honest, i dont really wanna work there. If i dont get a call back its because what i was wearing would suit their company style which was more laid back, country, comfy and suited more for 30 year olds +. I was in skin tight black jeans, tight black singlet, baggy unbuttoned khaki shirt with beige buckled high heels. Meh.

I just applied for about 5 jobs on seek. commooon i want money!!!! you know i can work hard. I dont know if im glad to say this but, im getting a normal person's sleeping pattern back. I'm jealous of vince's new phone. Its a Motorolla Defy - the tag line is Boredom Free. I WANT THAT! I'm planning to change mobile phone carriers since ive been with mine since i was in year 9. people are on 'caps' which they pay as low as $29 a month, with a nice little phone at no extra cost, and get $180 worth of credit. I, however, am on a shitty prepaid that i pay $30 and only get $30 credit and i could spend up to $75 a month and my phones not even good. I wanna be able to check my facebook, check in cool places, check my ebay and also check train time tables. its like carrying a laptop everywhere AND having internet. so cool. Its time to climb this ladder. I went to Quang Vinh today, the first time since vince found a cockroach in his soup. and i will admit, the food there is bloody good. Have u tried Mung Bean smoothie? i just did. and oh man, thats gonna be something i'll crave.

I was doing some late night/early morning cooking. It was my first time frying dried fish and squid so I didnt know if I was doing it right. If i was back home, this job would usually be done by my dad. Good old papa, he's good for many many things, including cooking and frying fish.

I dont know if I over cooked the squid but it went crazy curly.. and not curly the way papa's usually is. But it didn't look brown enough so I kept cooking, i didnt wanna eat uncooked dried squid! The same goes for the dried fish. The skin had many bubbles because of the oil - i think that was over cooked too. but they both tasted how they were meant to taste! just the looks is a bit different.

I hope i ddnt make Ate's kitchen smell like fish. I did turn on the range hood and open the door - i freezed i the process. I've speed listed 25 items on ebay. It took me 4 hours which means 12 minutes each item, not including the photography and unloading time. Ugh. I have to thing of a quicker way. Perhaps im putting way too much time into listing. I'm getting annoyed with these noob ebayers. Only now have i experience people not willing to pay. I shattered because i made a $10 profit on one bag, and relisting it will probably mean i wont get as much. Ugh. I've been living at Ate's house for almost 1 month now. Last week i gave her $50 for food, and a gas bill came in and I will give Ate $30. I wonder if i can really support myself with this job at Jwow. Right now I have nothing in my wallet. Sometimes I might only make $120 a week. so shit. Need more money. Ate kindly made me a resume because she reckons mines not good enough. i have to get Microsoft Word working on this computer so I can edit some things. I have already sent a about 10 applications via Seek.com last night. Casual retail positions for places in Colllingwood, Chapel Street and Melbourne CBD. I applied for Adidas and Myer. I also applied for G-STAR melbourne central. How I would love to work there - not that I own any of their clothing - its just a cool status to have. 'I work at G-Star' Tmrw is Friday and yes its another day at Jwow. I hope we make our target so we can get that tiny little bonus. I casually discussed vman's saving/financial plan. He earns very good money but still has nothing to show for it. And he doesnt spend much on material things, let alone things for himself. I hope after our talk he follows up where all his money is going. ___ It's funny the little games that boys and girls play when are attracted to each other. These games follow into adolescence and then into adulthood. Nothing changes except the loss of innocence. The most thrilling feeling comes when you're doing something you are forbidden to do. It makes the situation even more exciting. We always want what we cant have. I am no exception.

ive also planned to get piercings with phuong and kathy to commemorate phuong's 21st birthday. im gonna shout her the piercing. she'll get her ears done, ill finally get my nose and im not sure what kathy will have done. ive kinda just assumed she'll want to get something pierced. The place will be Essential Beauty at highpoint, its prolly something i should book for since there are three of us wanting to get something done at the same time. Phuong says she feels naughty hehe, doing something she's not meant to and breaking free from parental expectations. Friendship peircings?? thats some, as Die Antwoord would say:

I'm so tired! Stayed up til 8:30am this morning, slept til 1:00pm then off to work. 10.5 hour shift. Two people annoyed me today. 2 meals today. 16 hours between meals. Lots of redbull and half a bottle of sloe gin. And i miss my vman because i saw his sook position photos :(

Vman's Last Day

It's a sad day today my fellow friends. My dear vman is going to phils in 9 hours. he comes home in 3am then i meet him there. sigh today i went with vman to st. albans to eat breakfast. diced beef with tomato rice and a custard/apple smoothie. then went to wgs to bought some shit he needed. then to his house to 'help' him pack but all i did was made a list of all the things NOT to forget. i also taught him my strategy of packing breakables: line the bag, back and sides, with bulky/thick clothing, towels are good, then the breakables in the centre, separate each breakable with another thick clothing and then cover with more clothing it works for me. this is what bentot did when he was meant to be packing..

its strange, its only 12:47am and im sleepy. yesterday i didnt sleep very well. prolly slept at 6am. and i sleep that late most days. Why am i sleepy now when i know i must stay awake til 6am :( i discovered i cannot sleep easy unless i have spoken to vince on the phone. and it cant be an exciting conversation. and he must be the one to terminate it bcoz i could talk forever. a conversation before i sleep soothes me. tmrw friday, as usual, i have work at 3pm. helen's going to be in Sydney for the weekend and cheese is in brisbane so i'll be working with Darsh and Jess. i stil havent given darsh my gift to her from my trip. and ive completely forgotten about jess. opps. i have a tatto on my wrist. its fake. but its practice for my real one. mum doesnt believe that its real. damnit. its the chinese symbol for 'Chi' or energy which is a nice tattoo to have on your wrist, where your blood pumps through your veins and allows your hands to work and create. its actually quite beautiful. ill remember this.
