So Flossy

What do you do for a living? Oh I feed people unnecessary items to satisfy their hunger for possession. And if they can't decide whether they like the Milly Emerald Suede more than the Milly Sky Chicago, i tell them its okay to buy both.
Gluttony. You can't take these things with you to your grave.
I've started a new book without finishing my jay z book. I have a habit of ditching things when they get boring, tossing it to the side..
like a sex crime victim. Underwear inside out.
Bound with electrical tape.
- Fight Club
I use Michael Tran's business card as a bookmark. I have Scar Tissue by Anthony Keidis, 'the only man who gets hotter with age'. Its real interesting an the book engulfs me on the train. I'm not even one chapter in but already the drug references make me shiver. Im told it will only get worse.
I watched Aladin at James' house for the second time in my life. Aladin taught me "You're only in trouble when you get caught". And then life goes on.
Life always goes on.

Making a better world through consumerism

Taken from my Timberlands Shoe box. A nice little mission statement. Nice = makes the consumer feel better about consuming and polluting the world with all the by products of manufacturing/making the consumer feel like they are helping the world by buying from Timberlands.
How Will We Change Today? The opportunity to make it better is everywhere if we choose to act. Better is seeing a void and filling it. Hearing a call for help and answering it. Taking a wrong and making it right. It is as small as making boots, shoes and gear or as big as changing the world. Better is giving employees paid time to serve. Building a house. Painting a school. Empowering our youth. Feeding the hungry. Or revitalizing a community. Better is a call to action. A rallying cry. Fearless. Determined. Passionate. And connected. It is searching within. Reaching out. Heading into the eye of the storm. Adventuring out to the middle of nowhere. And doing so with purpose. So when the sunset and we think about what tomorrow will bring we understand that better is not what we do. It is who we are.
If i was writing a mission statement, this is how convincing it will sound.
