Hip Hop Dancing

Yay, me and vman are back together :) i walked to his house on my way to watergardens station. he was lying on this bed, just woke up, hugging his pillow and pretending to be sick and tired. but it was obvious that he was happy to see me. he kept hiding his face in the pillow and when he peeked at me he was smiling, i could see it in his smiling eyes.
cute.
vman's so cute. i wish i couldve taken a photo to post up here. vman didnt want me to walk to the station so he dropped me off. it was raining.
my train was stopping at stations for 5 minutes at a time (it seemed). At Sunshine the train stopped because some idiot was smoking on the trains, the driver wanted to air out the smoke so the smoke detectors don't go off. At Tottenham, the police were called because some crazy lady was on the train tracks. we had to wait for the cops to arrive and that the lady was safely out of way. Then the train lights started flickering, i thought we were going to have a power-out. But we didn't. phew.
I had a weirdo on the train come up to. It's no where near the first time this has happened but i always thought weirdo's on the train were normal. Until you go to London, Paris and Dubai and notice that most commuters there are civilized and sober.
I see this small middle aged aussie walking down the carriage. I can hear the clinking of beer bottles in his plastic bag, he holds a Carlton Draught in his left hand. I'm listening to my ipod and pretending that whatevers outside the window is interesting. My heart starts to beat faster when he comes up to me out of all the people on the train.
Drunko: hello, do you want a boyfriend?
Me: No
Drunko: Do you already have a boyfriend?
Me: Yes
Drunko: Are you just saying that you have a boyfriend?
Me: No
Drunko sits down in front of me and my heart beats faster.
Drunko: Are you going to see him tonight?
Me: Yes
Drunko: In those leggings?
Me: Yes
Drunko: Does he think you look hot in leggings?
He looks at my outstretched legs and taps my knee with his right hand. I pull back my legs immediately.
Me: Excuse me. Don't touch me.
Drunko: Okay, I won't. Does he think you look hot in leggings?
Me: What??
Drunko: Does he think you look hot in leggings?
Me: I don't know. You'll have to ask him.
Drunko: Okay, well you have a good one darling.
Drunk walks away sensing I don't want to talk. I feel violated that he touched me, even if it was a tap. My knee feels hot and dirty. It feels like there was acid on his hands, and now my knee is burning from the acid. I can feel it now. yuck.
I meet up with Wandy at Flinders Street Station. We were going to Space Dance and Arts Centre in Prahran for a 1.5hr intermediate dance class. That shit is a fucking work out. I was already sweating after the stretches and the humidity in the room didnt help either. By the end of the thing my entire top was soaked in sweat (lucky it was a dark colour) and my BRA was soaked in sweat, especially the fabric around the wiring. Incredible.
We danced to 'Last Train to Paris' by Strobe Light feat. Lil Wayne - for some reason I can't find it on youtube.

Swimming Pool

Its already 4am and i know in about 1 hour the sun will be up. I downloaded my first movie tonight. It was called Swimming Pool. I googled 'Greatest French Films' and this was one of 50. In reality, it was more in english, and I dont think this movie was that great. i may be missing something or there are some pretty big holes in this story. (I must stop thinking, eating and breathing Die Antwoord and how cool Yolandi Visser is, and how much I want to copy her hair.) I'm hungry, but i dont deserve to eat, since i didnt do anything all day and that the energy, carbs and sugar will be stored as fat around my tummy. i wonder when im going to fall asleep. i have somewhere to be tomorrow. Wandy and I are going hip hop dance lessons in Prahran. $15 for a 1.5hour intermediate class at the Space Dance and Arts Centre. I need to also get my camera quoted for repair so i can finally sort out this insurance claim. The weather is going to be shit all week. warm and 25 degrees but cloudy and pissing with rain. how confusing, what do i wear?? jwow has announced that bar staff are to wear uniform. it's pretty lenient. its basically black (everything black). 'nice' tops, and no PJ tshirts. guys got it a bit harder since they have to wear collared tops. I dont have any nice black tops, i usually wear singlets, is that nice enough?? i might have to buy some. Im not a fan of buying tops, i collect shoes, bags and jeans. tops are a fucking rip off for what they are. and besides, i dont usually find what i like. I gotsa suss out more op shops since the price of recommended retail is not value for money. I'd save heaps and find a whole buncha interesting things.

Sheila

So steve wants me to blog about salsa. I dont understand why if my blog is so 'gay' in the first place.
Tita grace left for home today. i woke up at 840am to watch mum, tito boy, tita grace and tita cell pacing the floor downstairs. i watched from the stairs and leant sleepily on the rails while sheila just smiled at my drowsiness. today is the day i plan to take out sheila but 1st i must go back and get more sleep. i spent the whole night watching Taken, and a bit of Old Dogs and Sex in the City which i did not find interesting. i snuggled in my fluffy bed surrounded by puffy pillows until my alarm rudely woke me up at 10:10am. quickly got dressed pressured anio to hurry up! he was gonna come with me and sheila to the city.
we were meant to catch the 11.09am train from wg's but after much delay in getting ready we ended up catching the 11:30something from albion. Anio parked the car there and the 3 of us travelled to the city together. the weather was horrible, cold then windy, then it rained, and then the sun shone, and then this cycle was repeated the for the whole day. it confused me and sheila as we repeatedly took off and on our jackets.
our first destination was QV Market. it was the most ideal place for sheila to buy australian souvieners. i wasnt sure as to what the opening hours were on a wednesday, so we took the tram up anyway. it was closed. so we took a photo of the opening hours for our next visit.
We made our way to Melbourne Central by foot, where sheila spent the time comparing melbourne recommended retail prices and dubai recommended retail prices. apparently, here in melbourne we get ripped off hardcore. I took sheila to eat at my favourite Japanese resturant, Ito where we both had eel and rice. i dont really like eel, it felt crunchy in my mouth when i ate it. half way through i realised the eel had bones! what kind of eel has bones?? i thought they were spineless.. i divided the eel from my rice and continued eating the rice. i dont think ill be eating eel again. i dont like eating bones. sheila bought helps of australian souvieners from random shops on swanston street, and also a philosphy book in Metropolis.
Time went by quickly and it was time for salsa classes at Syn Bar. This will be my 2nd time, but sheila's first time. Vman did overtime at work an couldnt make it. this time we had to wear name tags, just for fun, sheila's read 'Jenn' and mine read 'Sheila'. if anyone was to ask, i would tell them i was from dubai, visiting my family for a cousin's wedding. Salsa lessons are so much fun. quite easy too. we danced with almost all the guys in the room (you had to). it's funny becoz there are guys there who think they are so pro with the salsa steps. i find it annoying how they swing my arms from right to left, please. i also find it cringeworthy when they try to improvise with their feet or dance steps, instead of stepping infront with their toes, they will step with heels and wiggle it a little.
No.

Law Abiding Citizen

It was cheap movie tuesday yesterday, tickets were $10.50 but back 5 years ago cheap tuesdays meant $5 a ticket. Anyway, I watched a movie that could almost be compared to Shawshank Redemption. The movie's main issues concern itself with the faults of the justice system. A guilty man can walk free with persuasive words backed up with laws and deals can be made with murders. It's the best movie i have watched in the cinema since Avatar in 3D. Vman taught me how to drive (or start up and reverse) a manual car! I feel so good that I have learnt something new, i havent learnt something new in so long. Clutch + brake, turn on engine, let go of hand brake, Gear 1, let go brake, (now the tricky part) GENTLY let go the clutch AS you GENTLY press the accelerator. Thats wat i need to get the hang off since i tend to press the accelerator harder than i let the clutch go. Let go of clutch, continue applying pressure on accelerator, clutch, Gear 2 to go faster. I enjoyed driving manual. i find it similar to maths, theres theory behind ' i have to do this because the car is doing this'. It makes me think and forces me to figure out what's i have to do inorder to dorp my speed and stop at this stop sign. Toady i FINALLY WENT SALSA LESSONS. oh it was fun! it was FREE too, every wednesday and thursday from 5:30pm at Syn Bar on Russell Street. It's actually quite easy to get that hang off. Vman wont let me forget the counting 1, 2, 3, pause, 5, 6, 7. He ended up having fun too, he got off to a nervous start but when theres so many people, you feel no one really cares if you fuck up. The lady taught us a Basic Step, a Step that started with a C, and a Spot Step. She says you need to know how to do these steps and that social Salsa dancing was mostly improvised. Thats the reason why its so fun, the guy is the one who leads. Michael Jackson painted on garden crickets photographed at the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum in Gold Coast
