01.02.12
1 + 2 = 1 and 2
I have a thing for numbers. Especially when its the first day of the month, its significant if something new has begun. For the first of Feb, 2012 something beautiful has started, the GNFU Experimental blogspot. Check it: gnfu4u.blogspot.com.au
It's a joint blog with my very good friend Phuong Tran. It's all creative artsy stuff that inspire us to creative because creating turns us on. You can keep your porn.

Stevie Wonderful
It's almost 1am on a Thursday morning and I am drawing caricatures like im on something crazy. Where has this sudden burst of urgency and creativity come from?!? I'm so much more motivated and productive at night despite needing to wake up in 6 hours. I'm ready to drive to mums house where in my old room is my creative studio complete with art supplies, tools, sewing kits, fabrics and natural light.
I need to work tomorrow doing some boring transfers and all I wanna do after work is go straight to jwow to decorate the place. Personalise that blank piece of canvas. It's so BORING. I went to the Salvo's in Burnside at 5:25pm today not knowing until I got there that they would close in 5 minutes. Speed shopping. I love it. It gives me such an adrenaline rush. Quick! Grab everything! The goal was to buy cheap but expensive looking things to decorate jwow. Since Jwow doesnt have hooks in the walls just yet I grabbed things to place on the tables. Alcoholic vintage glassware and this wooden giraffe figure. Within minutes I decided that the theme of Jwow will be (wooden) animal statues to tie in with the random white cow/bull with The Beatles painted on it hanging out front. Shudder. Add candles to alcoholic glassware to tie it in with the bar.
Go! Go! Go!

I went to Big W and bought these blank paper dolls which I have been drawing on for the past 3 hours. Weee weeeee. The Jwow Hall of Fame has been born. What an honour to be featured on this wall and have your portrait drawn by me! I'm so good.

Come, Let's Fuck Off. There's Nothing Here.
Die Antwoord, Max Normal TV and the Constructus Corporation taught me:
- being/looking different to everyone else is better when you are comfortable doing so/when doing so is really you
- don't be scared, go all out, they can hate but then again they dont understand
- treat those who dont with the least amount of energy as possible
- do not sleep too much
- do it yourself including cute little stuff toys and penis drawings
- trip the haters out by telling them what they've always wanted to hear in a serious tone
The also taught me you look stupid, coz you look like everyone else.
There was a point in time where I watched all the youtube videos and read all the internet articles with the keywords 'Die Antwoord'. I paid $50 for a crappy Die Antwoord tshirt from the official website. They've put a spell on me and I'm addicted to them. When I play the Constructus Corporation album 'Ziggurat' i instantly pick up a needle and thread and start altering my clothes. These guys stand for so much more than I can explain. It takes an open mind to know the meaning behind their apparent superficial, cocky and seemingly typical song topics. They stand for individuality, creativity, achieving goals and being productive.
I fookin' love these guys.
Die Antwoord Interview with Tim Noakes
Max Normal - Love Is
To you and your quest for complete self sufficiency
Choose the quickest way between two points
Don't waste your energy on bullshit interaction
Don't be scared of anything except letting yourself down
Out-do yourself, work harder than anyone else... now
Make very clear distinctions between parasites and creators
Be a creator instead of a second-hand artificial flavour
Do not concern yourself with anyone's opinion of your methods, save your own
Be three steps ahead of everyone, I promise you'll make it home
Do not sleep too much,
Be firm yet supple, use me as a weapon, Max Normal flirts with trouble,
Put me on the front-line. I cannot be destroyed
You know the deal, anti-personnel spells get deployed
Treat people who do not understand what we do with the least amount of energy as possible
Invent the future - then manifest it
Keep yourself in check, sir. Don't forget it, decide exactly what it is that you want
Then go out and get it without requiring anything of anyone
Spark something new that'll last forever
Stay invisible till you invincible then set your plan in motion
This is war, we battle demons, become the perfect assassin
This next video, I love. I watch it, have it play in the background as I work. It's too gangsta, and not the gangsta you know abou. My favourite part especially, comes in at the very end 14:08. Just listen.
I'm old enough to bleed
I'm old enough to breed
I'm old enough to crack a brick in your teeth while you sleep

I Threw In 5cents At The NGV Fountain
The wish that I had made at the NGV on the eve of my 22nd birthday:
I wish that I could
contribute to the making of a better world
with my design skills and knowledge.

Quick!
A sudden rush of adrenaline and energy. I can feel the positivity in my surroundings even though ive been surrounded by these things for months. It's amazing what people can do to you, they dont even know what effect they had/have on me. I need to take advantage of it so my sketch book is open and im drawing. Shhh don't distract me.
