Dragon Fruit

It was mums 65th birthday today. we went to the Salvos in burnside and then to st. albans for some kick ass crispy skin chicken. Look what I ate today. Thank you kind lady at Pho Kim Long Restaurant, St. Albans who let me taste some of hers. $11.99 a kilo - FUCK THAT. Dragon fruit is called
Dragon Fruit
We went grocery shopping after. Asian groceries. i love it. so much weird things to try. Today i got this green square for $1.20 its glutenous rice, mung beans and flavouring. it smelt like it tasted - a cross between Petrol and Dr. Pepper. The vietnamese puto, what i called it, is always nice. and of course, the fresher pack was at the very bottom of the pile. mum was going to take the first one! but i showed her why she shouldn't.
the first packed expired on the 23rd (tomorrow), the 2nd pack on the 24th and the third on the 25th! we got the 3rd one.
Mum: Ahh, so is that what they do..
yes. dodgies. wanna get the old out fast. they do it in safeway and coles too. we also bought pandan flavouring. mmm if it wasnt so concentrated ill down the whole bottle. the smell is so tempting.
