I love this heavy weight on my finger

One of my favourite photos
at the border of NSW and QLD, Australia
i have recently returned from a trip from sydney and the gold coast. i love sydney as yuo may have read in my previous blogs i just cant get enough of it. for the first time, we stumbled across the Bondi Markets. and it was amazing! there are so many nice little unique things that i would love to have. and at a reasonable price too. ilove markets, especially when you are buying straight from the designer or artist. you can purchase the item knowing it was handmade and (hopefully) original. i purchased this gold two finger ring, the design is quite simplistic with a couple of rectangle shapes placed ontop of the flat surface. i love the weight on my finger. it has embosed beside it the brand ATAT in kinda angular futurist font which suits the style of the ring. i love it, but i am afraid that some day soon the gold plating will soon turn an ugly grey silver.
Can you see it on my finger?
Sheila goes home on thursday. its such a shame i would like it for her to stay in melbourne, there is still so many things she hasnt seen! i want to take her to the old melbourne goal and to the eureka tower. being at the highest point in the southern hemisphere is surely something to tell your friends back home.
Magicity Night Club - Gold Coast
Looks like a church right? They turned it into a night club.
No shit.
George.
I woke up on Surfers Paradise Beach to find
Vman playing with this tiny tiny crab.
waiting at sydney airport yesterday night, i bought a magazine. the first magazine that i bought in months, maybe years. it was the Yen magazine. apparantly, 'its fashion but not as you know it'. so here, take my $8.50 and let's give Yen a go. i have certain views on magazine buying, i would see piles of outdated magazines at my house as a kid. no one touched them after reading them three times. i was the only one who used to to cut out pretty images and file them somewhere. but when i discovered that the price of a mazagine averages about $7 i was convinced that buying magz were a waste of money. the idea of buying one every week/month and then disposing of it isn't me. especially when if the mag is all about fashion trends, advertisements and sex. IF i were to buy a mag, i avoid ones like Cleo and Cosmo. i like I.D.N., Monsters Children, Frankie and perhaps now, Yen. I like magz that are packed with images, since i dont really like to read the content, so i can look to them for inspiration when i am stuck with a design brief.
Yen is running a competition. They want us to write a short story of 500-1000 words starting with 'Excuse-me Madmoselle...' I'm not sure exactly what you win, probably some movie tickets and the chance to have your story published online. i'm giving it ago, but im not sure where my story will go just after 200words.
today is my 1st day of uni since 7days ago. i have discovered how much work i have missed out on. it will be worse when i go to classes on thursday and friday. friday is my 1st shift at work since last sunday. its a 6-9pm shift which means i have to go straight home after uni which finishes at 2:30pm or perhaps eariler.
as i write this blog, anio is roaming around watervale without a home. its 1:47am on a wednesday morning. papa has kicked him out of the house. anio was already in the front door when papa pushed him out, called him stupid. papa grabbed his house keys and the car keys and told him to get out. mum went to chase after him, telling papa to let him stay but papa wouldn't hear any of it. so mum went down the road to chase after him. by then anio was probably angry and upset so he screamed at her. he woudln't come back home, i wouldnt either if that happend to me. he's probably going back to his friends house where he came from. this is kinda sad.
