I Want a Money Tree

I accidentally put my alarm on for one hour too late this morning. It was set for 8:20am when I was meant to be up at 7:20am the lastest. i woke reluctantly from my dream to the sound of papa politely knocking on my door. I could hear in his voice he was concerned as to why I wasnt making any 'already awake sounds' like opening my curtains, flushing the toilet, sliding heavy wardrobe door and the sound of the shower running. he reminded me that we had to leave the house at five to eight. 

that means 7:55am in digital time, i dont like it when i ask for the time and i dont get digital time. why cant people say it the easy way instead of having to figure it out? ill have to convert it back to digital time anyway.

i didnt get much sleep today. i usually do, i love my 9hrs sleep a day. i know i am very lucky to get even 7hrs since some people out there are much less lazier than me. I wasn't sure wat time i slept last night. i cant feel time tick by at night when im in my room, the rest of the world doesnt matter to me =] until the sun comes up and the birds start singing, then i know i missed out on 9hrs sleep -.-

i fell asleep on the train to the city, and then in my lecture once i got to uni. i purposely sat at the back row behind some guys big head. i put my reading glasses on to make it look like i was concentrating and hope my asian eyes were squinty enough to look like they were open when they are really closed.

Opened or Closed?

I bought my marketing text book today. i was shattered becoz it cost me $119.95 i was only gonna use it for a few months. that kinda money really set me back since ill be going to QLD again on monday morning. the tickets are already booked, $68 going there from MELB and $58 coming back. i think those prices are very good. a two way trip is just a bit more than my stupid text book! >.<

i fly out monday morning then come back  thursday night. i will miss two classes but tell my parents ill only miss 1 =] then on saturday morning me sheila and ate will go to sydney and come back monday night. im not sure how much those airfares will cost me, i assume less than the QLD ones. 

after uni i made my way to RMIT where i met up with my dear friend kylie wylie whom i havent seen in months. i was plesantly surprised to be offered some free BBQ and Carlton Draught beer. It was the first time i drank beer from a can and frankly i dont like it. Anthony Elliott of packaging spoke about how 'there is something wholesome about carrying lunch in a brown paper bag'. well i guess theres something wholesome about drinking beer outa a glass bottle. preferably with a bag of salted kettle chips on my right and a shisha on my left. ahhhh the good life.

kylie wylie wanted to buy some Marcs bag at David Jones. being her shopping buddy, i went along. kylie always spots things in fashion magazines, then sets her heart on getting it even if the prices are unknown. this is the bag she wanted.

I told her it looked like an environmental bag you get from the supermarkets. It's like she bought something by Marc Jacob and they gave it to her in that bag. There was a $250 price tag on it. If kylie had bought that bag for that price, i would personally feel the financial loss, just like how i lost $100 one night on the dance floor at Alumbra. i hope i get some karma and find $100 on a dance floor tmrw. I convinced kylie not to buy the bag, and she came back at me with 'what happened to the oldd jen!!' hahaha awww, i cannot be her faithful shopping buddy since i have no money to prove it. ill have to stick to my Savers, it'll never let me down.
